The nights where starting to get shorter and the days longer, though the weather didn't seem to change with what the sun suggested. The streets of the crumbling city were nearly packed that morning, people running to their feeble jobs in attempt to get centz to trade for food or clothing. The only real way to make any kind of profit these days was to either work you ass off and pray to what ever god you worship that what you are doing will work or you beg Shamballa Corp. for a job. Pathetic. A man on his hands and knees begged the Noble for a job, practically crying that his wife and 6 children will go hungry if he didn't find a job by the end of the week. Well that was his fault for having so many little monsters to feed. In response he just stepped around the beggar and kept walking as if the man wasn't shouting after him to "please consider" what he asked. The idiot didn't even say his name, besides, he wasn't in charge of hiring.
About the time he rounded the block his short-ranged cellphone rang. Answering it, he got a message from the Corporation's H.Q. Resistance members were said to be on their way to the city. That would be something interesting to see. Who ever they were they were going to be slaughtered. He ordered the dispatcher to find their location of entry than send his best sniper to take them out as soon as they stepped foot in the city. Luckily for Shamballa Corp. snipers weren't hard to find if they were desperate for work or just want a bit of cash. Darcia closed the cellphone and slid it back into the inside pocket of his jacket before heading toward his favorite little eatery, the coliseum.
Nothing amused him more than watching poor fools take on wild beasts with just their bare hands.

The seasons were changing, but despite what the sun said about the seasons changing mother nature didn't seem as willing to let winter leave quite yet, the air was still chilly as a young girl walked through the streets of the city. She usually steered clear of big cities like Central but upon hearing about the coliseum, and with her being slightly bored from traveling alone, she decided to venture into Central to watch the action.
As she walked down the street towards the coliseum she saw people on their hands and knees begging others for work so they and their families wouldn't starve, part of her pitied them, but the other part of her sneered and said they deserved it if they would just stop reproducing like rabbits they would have the money to feed themselves. She shook her head and kept walking sometimes she just couldn't bring herself to try to understand the humans. She barely looked around as she walked her ice blue eyes mostly focused straight ahead so as to not be swamped by the begging humans, her mid back length blonde and pale blue streaked hair blowing slightly in the chilly breeze.
Upon arriving at the coliseum she stopped outside and looked up at it, she had never been to a coliseum before she had just heard stories from other humans during her travels. She hoped that the stories she had heard about this place were true and as entertaining as they sounded.

Something strange was in the air, the scent of a wolf. Up ahead the Noble spotted a gray-scale wolf looking up at the coliseum. Pitty for her, he could see her. Such a clean coat, Dante would adore the wolf's looks and it being a female was another plus. With a small, slightly dangerous smile, Darcia walked over to the awe-struck wolf, acting as if her alchemy effected him in the same way it did to the humans around them. "It is not often that a woman comes to watch the spectacles in the coliseum, or are you lost" Her human "form" was odd for a wolf, having stripes in her hair and such. Normally wolves chose less stand-out looks when messing with humans' minds, after all, they wanted to go unnoticed. Good thing for him his human half masking his wolf scent, even those with the best noses couldn't tell he was part wolf, most of the time.

Hearing a voice behind her she turned her ice blue gaze toward the one who had spoken to her, this man had to be a Noble or some other higher ranking person, he was dressed differently than the other humans she had seen in this city. "Oh no, I'm not lost, I came here to watch the spectacles here." Something seemed odd about this Noble though, she couldn't put her foot on it but something just didn't seem right. And why was he talking to her of all people, she figured Nobles only talked to others of their same stature unless it was someone who worked for them. She pushed the thoughts out of her head and focused on the man again. "Are you here to watch the spectacles too?"

The Noble was a bit amused by the wolf. "I would not be here if I was not going to watch." He started to walk into the building at that time, briefly showing his ID to the man at the ticket booth but making sure the wolf didn't see it. "You do know you have to pay to get in, right?" He glanced back at the wolf with his blue eye. "But if you don't have money I suppose you could come along with me." Maybe there would be something exciting that would happen, giving him a chance to abduct the wolf to drag her back to the Corp HQ.
Up on the marquee the day's spectacles scrolled across the screen. It seemed a lion-scorpion was going to be pinned off against a rouge alchemist and their battery. That would be fun, either both the humans would die or the power souse and the chimera was going to die. It didn't matter, death was fun no matter which side died.

The girl chuckled, "Of course, makes sense I guess though I figured upper-class people would find other things more entertaining than the coliseum, guess your different from the other upper-classes." She watched as he walked towards the coliseum and showed his ID, she briefly wondered how she was going to manage to sneak in when he said she could come in with him. She stood there for several seconds debating on if she should trust him or not, but mentally shrugged the feeling off for now, she came here looking for entertainment and she wasn't about to pass up a free offer. "Oh, well...Thank you...uhhh." She trailed off realizing he never said what his name was and therefore didn't know how to address him, she finally sided with a simple 'Sir.'
She followed him into the Coliseum and looked up at the line-up for the day, she didn't really know what it all meant but she didn't let her confusion show.
